Then here is the 1st part (from 5) of a long-lost ‘mock radio show’ hosted by David Bowie, dating back to 1973.

Originally it made as a promotional tool for Bowie’s covers LP, ‘Pin-Ups‘, the programme finds him playing five tracks by other artists: all featuring on the ‘Pin-Ups’ tracklisting – amongst those The Pretty Things’ ‘Rosalyn’, The Yardbirds’, ‘I Wish You Would’ and The Who’s ‘I Can’t Explain’.  The songs of ‘Pin-Ups’ are his favourites from the ’64–67′ period of London. For example: The Mojos – Everything Allright (1964)

Utoljára a művészeti szakközép folyosóján 1994 áprilisában, amikor mindenki Kurt Cobainje jobblétre szenderült, és az elvontak egyik felét zokogó-, másik felét röhögőgörcs kínozta, na akkor éreztem magam hasonló mértékben fiatalnak és öregnek egyszerre, mint tegnap este az osztrák Just Friends and Lovers és a Robotra közös buliján, amit a New Meat szervezett. Persze hogy elbaszottak voltak itt-ott a számok, persze hogy csúszkált az ütem néha, de az a buli, ahol mindkét zenekarban meglépik, a (szintén művészetis időket idéző) dobos-gitáros (ill.: dobos-szintis) helycserét, az a buli csak fasza lehet! Sőt, a koncert utolsó száma erejéig, a Robotra Hot Water-jére
(az albumon az 5. szám)…

…visszatért a színpadra egy mikrofon mögé a  Just Friends and Lovers három csaja is (merthogy ők egy csaj-trió), és a két banda így egyesülve üvöltötte bele az októberhuszonharmadikai éjszakába a művészetis életérzést: na ott derült a szív!

Az összhatást még az a láthatóan részeg seggfej sem tudta szétbaszni, aki azért (?) jött a buliba, hogy a kanapé előtt terpeszkedve a számok között beordibálja a fárasztó hülyeségeit, amin aztán társasága jókat nevetgélt. Na de egy pank bulin ugye mindent szabad, még akkor is ha ezt a frázist csak az ilyen seggfejek szeretik szó szerint érteni.

Végül: az informalitás kedvéért, természetesen beraktam a posztba egy-egy videót a két bandától, amelyekből természetesen nem fog átjönni, hogy miért is a világ egyik legfaszább dolga egy „művészetisbuliban” magasról szarni arra, hogy elbaszottak voltak itt-ott a számok, és hogy csúszkált az ütem néha.

Once upon a time there was a feminist punk rock group in Russia. In the 2012th year of the Lord they went to a church and took some shots for their video clip without music and permission, and created a little scandal. Because of the intervention of guards the action lasted for only 40 secs. They put the clip on internet. In the song they ask Mary to remove Putin from the power. Huge scandal.

Three young women would be hunted down, and the authority laid a charge of „hooliganism motivated by religious hatred” against them.* The defendants were treated as terrorists. The judgement: 1 on parole, and 2 x 2 years in labour camp. The high authority said that the proceedings were not a political, rather a criminal act. But because the act of Pussy Riot was political therefore the judgment was necessarily also political. But the judgement was mild, because these women and their collaborators „can try to destruct our country with undermine our moral basis” – said Putin. The decision begot a big international outcry among civil rights movements and all kind of artists. Madonna was one of the main protesters, but she is just „an aging ex-whore” – said by the Russian vice-president.

*I don’t understand the „religious hatred” because they pray to Mary so they are believers.

The Russian people were divided on the issue. The majority (literally: bolsheviks), i. e. conservative side demanded the strict penalty. They have raised in the soft-Stalinist bolshevik era mainly. The minority, i. e. liberal side protested against the decision. Generally they were born after the fall of communist dictatorship.

Since then there were some hunger strikes by the two jailed 23 and 25 years old public enemies.
