No Reason Anymore

Pink Reason was one of the most influential lo-fi punk band. It was founded by Kevin De Broux. He spent his teen age years in Siberia, so he would be a punk there, and got under the influence of Russian underground music.
I don’t understand his announcement, because there never were fixed members except for him. He made some records alone and did some one man tours with an acoustic guitar. So maybe Pink Reason is finished as a band only, and the one man Pink Reason still alive.

NATURAL CHILD (USA) + SUPERNAKED
Nem mindennapi élményben lesz része annak, aki október 14.-én ellátogat a budapesti Dürer Kertbe , ahol a Natural Child, utóbbi idők legjobb rhythm’n’ blues, hard rock’n’roll zenekara ad koncertet. Az együttes három nagylemez és Észak-Amerika tomboló sikerű többszöri szétkoncertezése után, első európai turnéja során érkezik hazánkba.

Nemcsak azért, mert a nashville-i együttesből lehet az „amerikai Rolling Stones”, hanem azért is, mert ugyanúgy, mint a Stones-nál, náluk is kezdettől fogva érezhető, hogy valami rendkívüli történik a színpadon. “ (Keith Richards)
A Natural Child 2009-ben az amerikai zene egyik bölcsőjében, Nasville-ben született. Muzsikájukban garázs rock, blues és punk elemek keverednek. Az évek folyamán punkos lendületüket megőrizve egyre inkább a rockzene gyökerei felé fordultak, erőteljesebb lett a blues, keményebb a rock, s muzsikájukban a country is megjelent. Hangzásuk nemrég azzal teljesedett ki, hogy nagy meglepetésre egy slide-citerás meg egy orgonista csatlakozásával öttagúra bővült a csapat.
Ha most alakulna a Rolling Stones, a Led Zeppelin, vagy a Black Sabbath, kábé ugyanezt csinálnák. És ahogy őket is egy klub koncerten megnézni igazi élmény, úgy a Natural Child-ot is. A különbség csupán annyi, hogy a Natural Child-ot még lehet

NATURAL CHILD (USA) + SUPERNAKED
An uncommon experience is waiting for you on the 14th October in Budapest at the Dürer Kert where Natural Child, the best rhythm’n’blues, hard rock’n’roll band of recent years will give a show. After three albums and several smashing North American tours the band is coming to Europe for the first time.
In 2009 Natural Child was born in Nashville as a trio mixing garage rock, blues and punk elements in their music. During the years they have been influenced by the roots of rock and roll, so their blues burns with more power, their rock has a pretty heavy taste and they also add country elements to their music, while they just simply keep the élan of punk. Their sound recipe has evolved recently when a pedal steel guitar and an organ player have also joined the band.
If Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath would form now, they would play roughly similar music. And to see these bands in a small club is a most fantastic experience, just as you can see Natural Child in October. And for Natural Child everything is yet to come
On October 14 at Dürer Kert in Budapest
will be the debut of Supernaked too. The band has formed from the members of one-time Diomede Dirtfuzz and Romania. The Diomede Dirtfuzz played Cream-like psychedelic blues rock astonishingly well. The Romania was a notorious punk band, who became a legend after their recent break up.

The New Way Of Danish Fuck You – a kopenhágai punk szintér új generációjának gyűjtőneve. Legismertebb szereplője az Iceage. A zenekar első albumával 2011-ben a semmiből robbant be a köztudatba. A lemezt Amerikában egy jó nevű kis független kiadó, a Dais adta ki. Néhány név a Dais diszkográfiájából: Missing Foundation, Psychic TV, Bestial Mouth, Cult Of Youth, Sightings. A második album már egy nagy független lemezcégnél, a Matadornál jelent meg év elején. Az Iceage nagy sikerű amerikai és európai fellépések után csütörtök este Budapesten a tökéletesen illeszkedő Broken Cups és der Tanz társaságában a Dürer Kertben lép fel.

The New Way Of Danish Fuck You – is the name of Copenhagen real time punk scene. The best known member of it is the Iceage. The band became known by his first album in 2011. It was released by a noted little independent label, Dais Record. Some names from the Dais discography: Missing Foundation, Psychic TV, Bestial Mouth, Cult Of Youth, Sightings. Their second album was released by a big independent label, Matador, in January. After highly successful American and European gigs the band will give a show in Budapest at Dürer Kert on Thursday with Broken Cups and der Tanz.

The sixth traveller of Daikiri / Don Vito tour is the French graphic artist, C R A O M A N, who make a comic book about the Ears Crisis Tour from Brno (CZ) as far as Ankara (Turkey) and back to Ceske Budejovice (Budweis).

Not Funny Anymore
„Wet Nuns was a joke we started in the summer of 2009. We never thought we’d do much more than play a couple of the pubs in and around Sheffield. (…) our four year long joke isn’t very funny anymore. We’re sick of the sight of each other and the band is imminently to cease to exist.”
Their posthumous first album, titled Self Congratulatory, will be released on Oct 6.
Instead of the planned Euro Tour the farewell tour will be only in England.
