keelher_sea

High standard lo-fi noisy bedroom pop from Brighton by an alien-obsessed hyperactive girl, Rose Jayne Keeler-Schäffeler aka Keel Her. Demos of 2014 with Da, Da, Da (Trio) cover

In 2012 the godfather of lo-fi, and World Champion of DIY home recordings, R. Steevie Moore invited her to play together at his studio in Memphis. Her debut album was released in March on Critical Heights.

Fresh Rattling From The Basement

fagcopcut

One rnr666 boss Pali said that Nathan Loud Fag Cop singer’s new songs are „very mucking good!” Lo-fi garage punk rattling straight from the basement

Fag Cop (sometimes Ex-Fag Cop) is a raw punk band in the middle of the States in Lawrence, Kansas, where the most viable musical life is to be found between Chicago and Denver – was written by New York Times in 2005. Maybe it is a side-effect of a nuclear attack by Soviets in 1983. Yes, nuclear attack, of course. It was televised.

Not So Cold

„Beta Frontiers is the soundtrack to a near-future physical video game where your shoes are hovercrafts and you actually make it to all the parties in one night. When you get there, everyone is like, “Hey Mike!!”, as beamy smiles melt into your now-hologrammed dancing body.” (Anamai, ambient folk artist, label mate)

Canadian artist Michael Butler makes 80s-like electronic pop under name of BETA FRONTIERS

One of the two key members is the bassist Barbara Lehnhoff, with whom you can read an interview with reference to her amazing electronic side project, Camilla Sparksss here. Peter Kernel was formed because there was need of a soundtrack for her film.
