3 punks, 1-1 from Japan, France and Spain, together with
a Caribbean tennis teacher,

who unlike the others was not in a band before,
but was chosen for singing because he is a frenetic dancer, well,
they met at first at a Billy Childish gig at Dirty Water Club in London,
and soon they formed the

KING SALAMI & THE CUMBERLAND 3

influenced by the 50-60s rhythm and blues, rockabilly, rock and roll and soul,
like Andre Williams, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Bo Diddley, Sonics, Trashmen, Link Wray, James Brown and more. They play it with punk attitude in an exceptional manner.

New album Going Back To Wurstville on Dirty Water Records (Europe), Off The Hip (Aus) and Disk Union (Jap)
