Az 1992-ben alakult ÚLF az obskurus hazai szinti szintér egyik kultikus együttese, mely tlkp Gáspár Kornéllal egyenlő . Zenéje mélabús dekadens casio-szinti-punk, minimalista szinti-pop, iparias cold wave és analóg elektro cuccok egyfajta avantgarde giccs kabaréja.
Első ÚLF élményem a Csajok a pokolból címet viselő első RNR666 bulin volt. Addig még csak nem is hallottam róluk. Hevertem egy kanapén, néztem, hallgattam. Mivel nem szeretem túlságosan ezt a fajta muzsikát, rövid idő múlva megkérdeztem magamtól, hogy – Hát hülye vagyok én, hogy ezt a szart hallgatom? és menni akartam, de nem tudtam otthagyni. A koncert folyamán ez párszor megismétlődött. Azóta gondolom, hogy ez az ember tud valami különlegeset.
1. Mi volt az első saját lemezed?
Vagy az Edda Művek 1. vagy a 100 Folk Celsius Ohio című mesterműve, még a Drosztmér Pistás depresszív szocio-country időszakukból
2. Mi a kedvenc lemezed?
Erre nagyon nehéz válaszolni, de ha nagyon kell, akkor: külföldiek közül Invasion Planete Records – összes… magyarok közül Korda 1976-os, Boldog Idők albuma…az egész korongot áthatja egyfajta kicsattanó dinamikájú, konyakgőzben szárnyaló éteri romantika.
3. Milyen lemezt hallgattál utoljára?
Fad Gadget korai alkotásait hallgattam a napokban…a legprímább, igazán nyers new wave az Aranykorból… akárcsak Snowy Red művei.. sajnos már mindkét alkotó az Égi Mezőkröl figyel minket…

My first experience with ÚLF was in the first rnr666 party, was called Girls From Hell. I laid on a sofa, saw and listened to it. I don’t like too much this style so for short time I asked me – Am I stupid that listening to this shit? and I wanted to go, but couldn’t move. It repeated more times during the show. Since then I have been thinking that he knows something special thing.
1. What was the first own record in your life?
Edda Művek 1 or the 100 Folk Celsius’ masterpiece: Ohio. It dates back to his depressed socio-country era with Pista Drosztmér.
2. What is your favorite record? Please write some words about it!
It’s very difficult to answer, but if I need to do it: among the foreigners: Invasion Planete Records full discography, among the Hungarians: György Korda – Happy Times (1976). The album is pervaded by a special, dynamically outbursting and soaring ethereal romanticism in cognac vapour.
3. What was the last record that you heard? Please write some words about it!
I have listened to the early works of Fad Gadget nowadays. It’s really raw new wave from the golden era. First-rate. Just like Snowy Red’s records. It’s regrettable that both musician listen to us from the Heavenly Fields already.
