The Wax Idols started as Heather Fortune’s solo project. She was about 8 when his family moved a crappy village. „I hated pretty much everybody within a 20-mile radius, except for a small handful of weirdos. I just sat in my room, listened to music, read books and did yoga.” His uncle was big influence on her. He was a drummer and big Nirvana and Sonic Youth fan and gave her old drum set when she was 10. About 17 she moved to a punk house in Detroit. Then she played with Hunx and His Punx and wrote the big parts of the guitar themes on the Too Young to Be in Love LP.
