8. AN formed in 2003 in Finland. The song Let There Be Ebola Frost is taken from their album “Revelation I. World Minus Population” (2005).

9. Mayhem (Norway) is the most infamous black metal band. It was formed in 1984 in Oslo. There was a Swede singer called Dead. While performing he would often cut himself with hunting knives and broken glass. In 1991 Dead committed suicide. He was found with slit wrists and a shotgun wound to the head. In 1993 the bassist Count Grishnackh (Varg Vikernes, aka Burzum) murdered Euronymous (guitar) with 23 stabs with a knife: two to the head, five to the neck and sixteen to the back. Vikernes was sentenced to 21 years in prison for murder and church arson. Another member Blackthorn (guitar) was charged with complicity in murder and sentenced to serve 8 years in prison. So there only one man (Hellhammer, drums) remained alive and at large. Vikernes was released from prison in 2009. He has become a racist, fascist and gun maniac. He is a really inner barbarian. The track Buried By Time And Dust is taken from the album “De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas.” It was recorded in 1992-93, but released in 1994. Vocals by Hungarian singer Attila Csihar.

10. Hellhammer (Switzerland) was founded in 1981. They changed their name to Celtic Frost in 1984. They arose high above the scene with their avant-garde metal music and album covers, which were painted by H.R. Giger. The track Maniac is taken from the demo “Triumph Of Death” (1983).

11. Impaled Northern Moonforest is “True Norweigan Black Metal From Somerville” by  Seth Puthnam of grindcore band Anal Lust. Acoustic black metal parody. The track Grim And Frostbitten Gay Bar was recorded about 1997.
